PHP-Fusion Readme

INTRODUZIONE

Php-Fusion è un sistema di gestione dei contenuti (CMS) per siti web, scritto nel linguaggio dinamico PHP e che sfrutta un database MySql per memorizzare i contenuti del sito. La gestione dei contenuti è molto semplice grazie ad un pannello amministrazione centralizzato, con tutte le funzioni che un moderno CMS open-source, sicuro e affidabile deve avere.

Il software contenuto in questo pacchetto è da considersi Software Libero: sei libero di redistribuirlo e/o modficarlo secondo i termini espressi nella GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL) come pubblicati dalla Free Software Foundation, sia per la versione 3 della Licenza, o (a tua scelta) qualsiasi futura versione.

INSTALLAZIONE

Prima di poter installare PHP-Fusion nel tuo spazio web, è necessario che tu abbia a disposizione un database MySQL vuoto. Solitamente il tuo web-hosting dovrebbe avertene fornito almeno uno oppure devi crearlo tu tramite la loro interfaccia web o phpMyAdmin. Assicurati di avere a portata di mano i dati per accedere al tuo database: hostname, username, password e nome del database, che ti saranno richiesti nella prima fase della procedura di installazione.

1. Prima di caricare i files sul tuo spazio web, assicurati di rinominare il file _config.php (all'interno della cartella files) in config.php. Questa precauzione serve per evitare che durante un aggiornamento tu sovrascriva inavvertitamente il tuo config.php precedente, lasciando il sito in uno stato inutilizzabile.

2. Carica il contenuto della cartella files nella directory principale del tuo spazio web (solitamente la cartella si chiama public_html, www, webroot o simili).

3. A seconda della configurazione del server che ti ospita, è necessario impostare manualmente dei privilegi per alcuni file speciali di PHP-Fusion; dovrai impostare a CHMOD 777 i seguenti files:

administration/db_backups/
images/
images/imagelist.js
images/articles/
images/avatars/
images/news/
images/news_cats/
images/photoalbum/
images/photoalbum/submissions/
forum/attachments/
config.php

4. Collegati al tuo sito tramite un browser qualsiasi e sei hai seguito tutti i passi correttamente, verrai rediretto automaticamente verso la procedura di installazione. Se ciò non accade, assicurati di inserire il percorso completo all'interno del tuo browser e aggiungere /setup.php alla fine. L'errore più comune è quello di caricare sul proprio spazio direttamente la cartella files, non i suoi contenuti, quindi il sito sarà presente su http://www.iltuodominio.it/files/setup.php. Se non è ciò che vuoi, ripeti il caricamento nella posizione corretta!

5. Effettua la procedura di installazione, seguendo la procedura che ti sarà mostrata.

6. Al termine dell'installazione, assicurati di cancellare il file setup.php e di ripristinare permessi di sola lettura al file config.php (CHMOD 644).

AGGIORNAMENTO DA V6.01.XX

Before you upgrade we strongly recommend that you backup your files and your database as PHP-Fusion 7 is a major update compared to its predecessors. You need to follow these instructions precisely.

1. Version 6 code is not directly compatible with version 7. You must either update any mods, infusions, panels or themes before upgrading OR acquire a version 7 compatible update. It is recommended, however, that you disable all 3rd party code to avoid any problems.

2. First you must upload the upgrade script from the folder named 'upgrade v601x' to the administration folder of your site.

3. Login to your site as the Super Administrator. Under the System Admin tab of the Admin Panel, click on Upgrade then click the button marked Upgrade. YOU MUST follow the upgrade through a number of steps, the upgrade process will complete only when you see 'Database upgrade complete'.

4. VERY IMPORTANT: Since this release contains a number of structural changes, some elements of your site will not work properly until you have updated all of your files. YOU MUST upload ALL of the files from the files folder.

If at all you are any doubt please feel free to ask one of our support sites for help, there are plenty of knowledgeable users in our community who can help or advise you regarding the upgrade process.

SECURITY TIPS

Here are some useful tips to help keep your site secure:

Ensure config.php is not writable (should be CHMODed to 644).
Never leave setup.php on your server once PHP-Fusion is installed.
Always ensure your FTP and MySQL passwords are different.
Never allow forum attachments such as php, html, exe, or any type of text file.
